Your agent finds, verifies, and enriches every B2B contact

SalesCRMEmailMarketingAutomation

Dropcontact is a GDPR-compliant B2B data enrichment engine that finds professional email addresses, verifies deliverability, and appends job titles, phone numbers, LinkedIn URLs, and firmographic data to any contact record. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can enrich inbound leads the moment they appear, bulk-refresh stale CRM records overnight, deduplicate imports before they land, and sync verified profiles to HubSpot or Salesforce automatically — all without burning a single rep-hour on manual research.

Inbound email → enriched, routed, calendared

When a prospect emails your support address, your agent pulls their verified job title, company headcount, and direct phone from Dropcontact — before any human reads the thread. It posts the enriched profile to the right Slack channel, books a follow-up slot on the account manager's Google Calendar, and ensures the contact lands in HubSpot with a complete record. Zero clipboard work, zero missed routing decisions.

FAQs

Questions about Dropcontact + Actionist

How do I connect Dropcontact to Actionist?
Open the Apps tab, find Dropcontact, and click Connect. The recommended path is MCP — click through the Dropcontact authorisation prompt, approve the permissions, and Actionist handles the rest. If you prefer a direct API key, navigate to app.dropcontact.com → API, copy your key, paste it into the connection form, and hit Test connection. Either way, you're ready to run enrichment from your first workflow.
Does connecting Dropcontact consume enrichment credits?
Connecting the account and running a test connection does not consume credits. Credits are deducted only when the agent submits a real enrichment or email verification request — one credit per contact record processed. Use the Get Account Credits action to monitor your balance, and set up a Credit Threshold Reached trigger to alert you before automations hit a wall.
Can I combine Dropcontact with my CRM in the same workflow?
Yes — the most common pattern is: trigger fires on a new CRM contact → agent calls Dropcontact Enrich → agent writes enriched fields back to the CRM record. Dropcontact's Sync to CRM action handles the write-back natively. You can chain this with HubSpot, Salesforce, or any CRM that has an Actionist integration in the same workflow, with no intermediate manual steps.
What data does Dropcontact return for a B2B contact?
A successful enrichment returns verified professional email, direct phone number, job title, seniority level, LinkedIn profile URL, and company firmographics including industry, headcount range, website, and — for French companies — SIREN/SIRET registration numbers. Fields are returned only when Dropcontact has high confidence in the data; uncertain fields are omitted rather than guessed, so every returned value is reliable.
Is Dropcontact GDPR-compliant?
Dropcontact is a French company operating under GDPR and specifically built for the European B2B market. It only processes professional contact data (work emails, job titles, company info) — not personal private data — and provides GDPR-compliant sourcing provenance for every returned record. This makes it safe to use as a data enrichment layer in automated outreach and CRM workflows without additional legal review for standard B2B use cases.
How does the asynchronous enrichment flow work?
Dropcontact processes large batches asynchronously: the Enrich action submits the request and returns a job ID immediately. Use the Get Enrichment Status action to poll that ID — it returns a completion percentage. Once status is 'completed', call Fetch Request with the same ID to retrieve the full results. For bulk enrichments, build a waiting loop in your workflow that checks status every 60 seconds rather than queuing downstream steps before the data is ready.
Can I avoid re-enriching contacts I've already processed?
Yes — use the Search Contacts action to check whether a contact already has an enriched record before submitting a new enrichment request. If a match is found with recently verified data, skip the enrichment call and pull the existing result. This avoids unnecessary credit consumption on contacts your CRM already holds accurate data for. Pair this with a 'last enriched date' field in your CRM to enforce a re-enrichment cadence only on records older than 90 days.
What happens if enrichment fails for some contacts in a bulk batch?
Dropcontact returns a result for every submitted contact — successful enrichments include the verified data, while contacts it couldn't resolve return an explicit failure reason (no email found, company unresolvable, etc.). Your workflow can filter on the failure flag and route unresolvable contacts to a manual research queue or a secondary data source. The Enrichment Failed trigger fires for individual failures in real-time, so you can act on them before the batch completes.
