Consolidate is the all-in-one platform creative agencies and talent representatives use to manage bookings, talent rosters, invoicing, and production schedules in one place. Connect it to Actionist and your agents can create and confirm bookings, pull talent availability, fire invoices the moment a shoot wraps, and update portfolio assets — all in plain English, all without leaving your workflow.

Booking confirmed — crew briefed in 60 seconds

When a client emails confirming a shoot, your agent reads the booking details from Consolidate and fans out the full pre-production briefing — call sheet to talent, calendar hold to the studio, and a project kick-off note to the production team in Slack — before the booker has finished reading the email. Every crew member knows where to be and when, with zero copy-paste from the booking record.

FAQs

Questions about Consolidate + Actionist

What Consolidate objects can the agent read and write?
The agent can create, read, update, and cancel bookings; read and update talent profiles and availability calendars; create and send invoices and estimates; manage contacts; and read production project schedules. Essentially the full operational surface of a busy talent agency.
How do I connect Consolidate to Actionist?
The recommended path is MCP — click Connect on the Consolidate app card, authorise via Consolidate's OAuth screen, and Actionist verifies the handshake with a read-only test call. If you need server-side or self-hosted access, use the API Token method: generate a scoped token in Consolidate Settings → Integrations → API Access and paste it in.
What permissions does Actionist need in Consolidate?
For full agent capability, grant read/write access to bookings, talent, projects, invoices, and contacts. If you want to restrict the agent to read-only operations like reporting and availability checks, a read-only scope works — just know that booking creation and invoice dispatch will be unavailable.
Can the agent send invoices directly from Consolidate?
Yes. The Send invoice action creates and dispatches a Consolidate invoice to the client's billing contact. The agent can trigger this automatically — for example, when a booking status flips to completed or when a production milestone is marked done — or on demand when you ask it to invoice a specific client.
How does the agent avoid double-booking talent?
Before creating a booking, the agent reads the talent's availability calendar via Get talent calendar. If the requested dates are blocked, it surfaces the conflict and either searches for alternatives or asks you to confirm before proceeding. After a booking is confirmed, it immediately updates the talent's availability via Update talent availability — closing the window for duplicate bookings.
Can I use trigger events to automate follow-ups?
Yes — seven trigger events are available: New booking confirmed, Booking cancelled, Invoice paid, New project created, Talent availability changed, Estimate approved, and Production milestone reached. Each fires when the corresponding event occurs in Consolidate, letting the agent react in real time — for example, sending a call sheet the moment a booking confirms or releasing a talent's hold the moment a cancellation lands.
What happens if I disconnect Consolidate from Actionist?
Existing data in Consolidate is unaffected — disconnect only removes Actionist's access token. Any scheduled agent jobs that reference Consolidate will fail gracefully and surface an error rather than silently skip. Reconnect via the Apps tab at any time to restore full functionality.
Does Actionist work with Consolidate's multi-agency setup?
Actionist connects to the Consolidate account you authorise during setup, which maps to a single agency workspace. If you manage multiple agencies in separate Consolidate accounts, connect each as a distinct Actionist integration and reference the correct connection in your agent instructions.
