Your entire funnel, pipeline, and course — automated end to end

EcommerceSalesMarketingCRMEmailFormsSchedulingAutomation

ClickFunnels 2.0 is the all-in-one platform where your sales funnels, CRM pipeline, online courses, and email sequences live together. Once you connect it to Actionist, the agent can read contacts, create opportunities, grant course access, tag segments, and react to every purchase webhook — without you opening the dashboard. Think of it as giving your funnel a brain that acts the instant anything changes.

Turn Every Form Submission Into a Booked Follow-Up Call

When a prospect submits a high-intent form in ClickFunnels, the agent pulls their full contact record, updates their profile with the latest submission data, and books a follow-up task — then posts the lead brief to the customer-success Slack channel and blocks time on the rep's Google Calendar before any human has even seen the notification. No lead slips through because no human had to act on it.

With Actionist

What your agent runs for you

  • Sales
    19 min / week
Manual opportunity creation after every form submission

A rep opens ClickFunnels, finds the contact, creates the opportunity, and sets the pipeline stage — 19 minutes per conversion week.

    Sales Agent
    0 min
Agent creates and stages every opportunity automatically

The agent reads the form webhook, looks up the contact, creates the opportunity at the correct stage, and logs the source — zero rep effort.

  • Marketing
    14 min / week
Hand-applying tags to segment contacts post-campaign

A marketer exports contacts, filters by behaviour, and applies tags one batch at a time — 14 minutes of tag management weekly.

    Marketing Agent
    0 min
Agent tags contacts the moment the qualifying event fires

The agent listens for purchase, form, or score events and applies the correct segment tag in real time, keeping every sequence perfectly targeted.

  • Customer Support
    19 min / week
Manually checking whether a buyer has course access after a complaint

A support agent opens ClickFunnels, searches the contact, reads enrolment status, and fixes access — 19 minutes per ticket that asks 'where's my course?'

    Customer Support Agent
    0 min
Agent detects and resolves access gaps automatically

When an order-paid webhook fires without a matching enrolment, the agent enrols the contact immediately and emails confirmation — support never sees the ticket.

  • Human Resources

Manually enrolling new employees in onboarding courses

HR opens ClickFunnels for each new hire, finds the onboarding course, and grants enrolment — 8 minutes per new starter.

    Human Resources Agent
    0 min

  • Legal
    6 min / week

A legal coordinator searches ClickFunnels for new contacts and verifies their opt-in source is captured — 6 minutes per compliance check.

Connect

How to plug ClickFunnels into Actionist

Pick the connection method that suits your environment.

The fastest path. Install the ClickFunnels MCP server in one click and the agent connects to your workspace through a permissioned OAuth handshake — contacts, orders, and pipelines are immediately reachable with no tokens to manage.

1
Open the Apps tab

Find ClickFunnels in the Apps library and click Connect. MCP is selected by default.

2
Authorise in ClickFunnels

A ClickFunnels OAuth window opens. Sign in with your workspace owner account, review the requested scopes (contacts, orders, funnels, CRM), and click Authorise to complete the handshake.

3
Test the connection

Actionist runs a read-only call to verify the handshake. You're ready.

FAQs

Questions about ClickFunnels + Actionist

Which ClickFunnels actions can the agent perform on my behalf?
The agent can apply and remove contact tags, create and stage CRM opportunities, enrol contacts in courses, upsert contact records by email, search for existing contacts, create and read orders, list products and funnels, update opportunity stages, send contact emails, and more. Anything you'd normally do through the ClickFunnels dashboard is fair game once you've connected the app.
Which ClickFunnels events can trigger an Actionist workflow?
Nine webhook triggers are available: Scheduled Appointment Event Created, Contact Enrollment Completed Course, Course Enrollment Created, Contact Identified, Contact Submitted Form, Contact Enrollment Suspended From Course, One-Time Order Paid, Opportunity Moved Stages, and Subscription Invoice Paid. Your workflows can react to any of these the instant they fire in ClickFunnels.
Do I need a ClickFunnels developer account to connect?
No. The recommended MCP connection uses a standard OAuth flow — you sign in with your ClickFunnels workspace owner credentials and authorise the requested scopes. No developer account, no API documentation, and no token management required. If you prefer a static token for CI or server environments, you can generate one in ClickFunnels Profile Settings → API.
Can the agent handle both ClickFunnels Classic and ClickFunnels 2.0?
This integration targets ClickFunnels 2.0 (the current platform), which introduced the native CRM, pipelines, and courses that most of the agent's actions rely on. If you are on the legacy ClickFunnels Classic, the available actions are more limited — connect your account and the agent will surface only the operations supported by your plan's API version.
What happens if the agent tries to enrol a contact who is already enrolled?
The Enroll a Contact Into a Course action in ClickFunnels is idempotent for most course types — if the contact is already enrolled, the API returns the existing enrolment rather than creating a duplicate. The agent handles this gracefully and will not send a duplicate welcome email if the enrolment already exists.
Can I use ClickFunnels triggers to start a workflow that also uses other apps?
Yes — that is exactly the design. For example, a Contact Submitted Form trigger can kick off a workflow that reads the contact record from ClickFunnels, posts a lead brief to Slack, books a calendar slot in Google Calendar, and logs the deal in HubSpot, all in a single automated run. ClickFunnels is one node in your broader automation graph.
How does the agent handle contacts that don't exist yet in ClickFunnels?
The Update or Create Contact (By Email Address) action is specifically designed for this. The agent passes the email address, and ClickFunnels either creates a new contact or updates the existing one — no duplication, no manual lookup. If you need to check whether a contact exists before deciding what to do, the Search Contacts by Email or ID read action gives you that gate.
Is it safe to let the agent apply and remove tags automatically at scale?
Yes, with a caveat: tag changes in ClickFunnels are immediate and affect which email sequences a contact is in. Before deploying any automated tagging workflow at scale, test it on a small segment first and confirm the sequences attached to each tag behave as intended. The agent applies exactly the tags you specify in the workflow — it will not modify tags outside the ones you define.
