Call recorded → CRM updated in 60 seconds

When a customer call ends and Plaud finishes processing, your agent reads the summary for action items and commitments, writes structured notes back to the HubSpot contact record, and books any follow-up meeting directly on the rep's Google Calendar — all before the customer refreshes their inbox.

FAQs

Questions about Plaud + Actionist

What permissions does Actionist need to connect to my Plaud workspace?
Via MCP (the recommended method), Actionist requests read access to your recordings and transcripts plus write access for tagging and folder management. It operates under your Plaud account's existing sharing and privacy rules, so recordings marked private stay private.
Can my agent trigger actions the moment a Plaud recording is processed?
Yes — the 'Transcript & Summary Ready' webhook trigger fires as soon as Plaud completes processing. Your agent will react within seconds of a recording finishing, no polling required. Make sure webhook notifications are enabled in your Plaud workspace settings.
How do I avoid the agent creating duplicate CRM notes if a recording fires the webhook twice?
Use the recording's unique ID (returned by 'Get recording') as an idempotency key in your CRM update step. Before writing a note, have the agent check whether a note with that recording ID already exists. If it does, skip the write. This guards against retry-loop duplicates without any manual bookkeeping.
Which Plaud recording objects can my agent read and write?
Your agent can read recordings, transcripts (verbatim and speaker-labelled), summaries, folder lists, and extended metadata. It can write tags, create folders, upload new audio files, generate share links, and delete recordings. It cannot modify the transcript text itself — Plaud transcripts are read-only after generation.
Does Actionist store my Plaud transcript content?
Actionist processes transcript text in memory to complete the task (e.g., extract action items) but does not persist transcript content in Actionist's own storage. The data lives in Plaud. If you write content to a downstream tool like Notion or HubSpot, that tool's own data policies apply.
Can the agent search across all recordings or only the most recent ones?
The 'Search recordings' action queries your full Plaud library — there's no recency ceiling imposed by Actionist. Plaud's own API may paginate large result sets; the agent handles pagination automatically and returns all matching recordings before proceeding.
What happens if a recording's audio quality is too low to transcribe accurately?
Use the 'Get recording metadata' action to check the audio quality score before routing a recording into a high-stakes pipeline like CRM enrichment or legal archiving. If the score falls below your threshold, branch the workflow to flag the recording in Slack for manual review rather than writing low-confidence notes to your systems of record.
Can I disconnect Plaud without losing my existing data?
Disconnecting Plaud in Actionist revokes the agent's API access but does not delete any recordings, transcripts, or summaries from your Plaud account. All your audio and text data remains intact in Plaud. Any downstream records the agent previously wrote to HubSpot, Notion, or other tools are unaffected.
